Cursory CAMP DESCRIPTION: A renowned Long Island summertime arts twenty-four hour period camp attended by children from New York City and throughout the Tri-Country Expanse, with more than 40 programs in music, dance, theater, visual arts, artistic writing, nature and ecology and chess. NEW FOR 2015: Lego Design, Yoga, Quidditch, Hip Hop, Aftercare (at no actress charge, for busy and working parents). Flexible iii, four and vii-week seasons.

Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Pond, Science, Technology, Academics, and more. Nature & Ecology, Organic Gardening & Simple Food, & Chess.
CAMP LOCATION: Usdan Center is situated on a pristine 200-acre woodland campus in Huntington, Long Island. Each day, i,600 students, ages 6 -eighteen, travel to Usdan on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan surface area.
CAMP FACILITIES: The Center�south Long Island campus houses 70 studios and theaters, many of which have won international architectural awards. These include Usdan�s campus centre, The McKinley Amphitheater, a 1,000-seat state- of- the-fine art theater that houses the Festival Concerts. Usdan Eye is a beneficiary agency of UJA-Federation of New York.
CAMP Programme INFO: Usdan Center for the Artistic and Performing Arts (world wide web.usdan.com) is the nation�s preeminent not-for- turn a profit summer school of the arts. Now entering its 48th season, Usdan has introduced the arts to more than 60,000 young people, many of them on scholarship. No audition is needed for near courses, just an interest.
Usdan Center has been declared a �Best Of� camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, and by NY Metro Parents, and the Centre has been profiled in feature articles in The New York Times and in Time Mag. Usdan�s mission is to provide children with the arts equally a lifetime companion. This mission is realized through the inspiration of a world-class kinesthesia, and by the camaraderie of fellow students whose bail is their love of the arts.
The Center offers 40 programs of report, including Orchestra, Ring, Chorus, Jazz Studies, Guitar, Chamber Music, and Pianoforte in the Music Department; Ballet, Mod, Jazz, and Tap Dance in the Dance Section; Musical Theater and Drama in the Theater Arts Department; Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture, Photography, Jewelry, Cartooning, Animation, and Fashion Design in the Art Section; Nature and Environmental, and Organic Gardening in the Nature Department; and additional programs in creative writing, and in chess.
A special characteristic of the season are the daily Festival Concerts, special educational performances by often world-famous artists, in the on-site McKinley Ampitheater.
